Andriy Vyitovych
Born in the Ukraine, Andriy studied at the Lviv Conservatory. In 1991, he won a scholarship to study at the Menuhin Academy in Gstaad in Switzerland. In 1993 Andriy won the First Prize at the Golden Autumn International Chamber Music Competition.


He has appeared as soloist in many festivals across Europe, Japan, the USA and South America and as a chamber musician has played with ensembles such as the Razumovsky Ensemble, the Covent Garden Soloists and the European Camerata. In 1996 Andriy became co-principal with the LSO.

Currently Andriy Viytovych is Principal viola of the Royal Opera House Orchestra. In 1999 he was appointed Professor at the Royal College of Music.
