He
is a leader of the Linos Ensemble, with which he
has appeared in many festivals. Composers such as
Jean Francaix, Wolfgang Rihm and Isang Yun have
written works for his ensembles which also were
recorded.
In 1986 Rademacher accepted a professorship at the
Musikhochschule in Lübeck, and teaches since
1992 as a professor at the Musikhochschule Trossingen
in Germany. He has served since 1991 as Artistic
Director of the International Chamber Music Courses
in Weikersheim, Germany and is a founding member
of Open Chamber Music. Currently Winfried Rademacher
is Concertmaster of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra
and regularly invited to lead the Tonhalle Orchestra
in Zurich. He is also a leader of Camerata Academica
Salzburg and is a tutor for the World Youth Orchestra.
