Amelie Lied Haga

Amelie Lied Haga was born in 1990. At the age of seven she was accepted by the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo on the Programme for specially gifted children. Her main teachers are Alf Richard Kraggerud and Stefan Barratt-Due.

Amelie took part in Master-classes with Almita Vamos and Roland Vamos, Mauricio Fuks, Detlef Hahn, Stephen Shipps, Piotr Janowskij, Gina MacCormack and Henning Kraggerud.

She is the 1st Prize-winner in 2002 and 2004 National Competitions for young musicians and National Youth String Competition, 3rd Prize-winner the Enescu International Competition, 2nd Prize in International competition in Estonia and Ånun Lund Rej`s Award for Outstanding Young Musicians.

Amelie has played numerous concerts in Norway and abroad, broadcasted on several occasions on Norwegian Radio. She is a regular participant at Valdres Music Festival and performed as soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Romerike Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Musicum in Bergen, St. Moritz Festival Orchestra, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Parnu City Orchestra in Estonia and was Soloist with Ålesund Symphony Orchestra performing the Glazunov's Violin Concerto
